 2011 Hello Australia England and Canada! VO has experienced overwhelming international success, and has consciously decided to stay 'small.' I now book wedding invitations several months in advance to allow the time and attention that every project deserves. 2010 Moved to Seattle and decided to turn the small business into a full time dream job creating unique luxury invitations. Pinch me! 2009 I started exploring, creating, and eventually selling on Etsy. Sooner or later I started to take myself seriously, and VO Handmade was born. V and O are, of course, my initials. 2010-2005 I worked as an interior designer for TLCD Architecture in Northern California. They are a highly talented and extremely nice group of people. I learned an incredible amount and spread my wings as a designer. 2005 My husband Eric and I got married in the center of five redwoods. Made my own invitations... 2005-2001 Earned a Bachelors of Interior Architecture at U.of Oregon which is an amazingly creative and challenging program. While at the University I worked as a graphic designer at the Yamada Language Center. 2000 and earlier Somewhere in here I met my hubby, learned how to make one hell of a cherry pie, skinned knees with my three brothers, and felt like every day was art class.  |

| I am so happy that you have found VO Handmade and am fortunate to be able to share my designs with you. My work is not mainstream or traditional and won't be found at your big box store. My hope is that when you receive a VO handmade design it gives you a smile with it's unusual and creative yet elegant style. You may have heard of this wonderful website called Etsy which has given me a platform to show my work to the world and make a living. There lives an amazing design community, including many shops dedicated to the tremendous life event that we call a wedding. The talent that thrives on Etsy is a strength to each of our businesses and I see them not as competition, but as a strong and diverse collection of styles to chose from. I am inspired by so many talented artists in my life, who have shown that it is possible to work and be happy. I'm thankful for my parents (all four of them) who have given me the entrepreneurial spirit and kick ass work ethic.
